Honor launches high-end 8 Pro smartphone
Huawei's Honor brand has launched a new flagship model, the Honor 8 Pro smartphone. With a slightly smaller screen, the phone offers similar specifications to Huawei's high-end Mate 9 smartphone. 

The Honor 8 Pro comes with a 5.7-inch screen with QHD resolution (1,440 x 2,560 pixels) and runs Huawei's Kirin 950 octa-core processor. It features 6 GB memory and 64 GB internal storage as well as a 4,000 mAh battery and the same double 12-megapixel camera as the Honor 8. 

The phone will launch from 20 April on Honor's own website for EUR 549, with a choice of free extras such as a powerbank, memory card or VR headset.

The back camera offers 20- and 12-megapixel lenses with up to 2x optical zoom, and an 8-megapixel camera comes on the front. Pricing is expected to be announced in the coming weeks

Honor brings 8 Pro to Benelux

Huawei will soon present its Honor 8 Pro to the Benelux. The V9, already launched in China, will be available from 20 April as a premium model with a 5.7 inch K screen and the same processor as the Huawei Mate 9, the Kirin 960. Storage capacity will be 6/64 GB. The device will cost EUR 549 on the Honor online shop. The price includes an accessory of choice.

Huawei has launched its new Huawei P8 Lite 2017. Although the name of the smartphone suggests that it is a successor to the Huawei P8 Lite, the device bears no comparison whatsoever with the successful P8 Lite from 2015.The Huawei P8 Lite 2017 is a completely stand-alone model, for both design and hardware. Huawei's brand Honor has unveiled at CES a new smartphone targeting millennials, the Honor 6X. It offers premium features such as a dual-lens camera, 5.5-inch full HD screen and full metal casing.
