HTC announced a new model in its One series of smartphones the One (E8). Similar to the flagship One (M8), the new phone offers an ergonomic design to fit comfortably in the hand, but replaces the metal casing of the M8 with a plastic body in a choice of four colours (red, white, blue, grey). It includes HTC features such as BoomSound with front-facing speakers and Motion Launch to access common functions with gestures. In addition to a 13 megapixel back camera, the E8 comes with a 5 megapixel wide-angle front camera for selfies. It also comes with 16 GB internal storage, a 2,600 mAh battery and will be available in a dual-Sim version in some regions. HTC said the phone will launch in select markets in early June.
