Huawei grows H1 sales 40% to CNY 245.5 billion
Huawei announced its sales rose 40 percent year-on-year in the first half of 2016 to CNY 245.5 billion. The company's operating margin was 12 percent. 

CFO Sabrina Men said the company achieved "steady growth" across all three of its business groups, but did not provide further results. She said Huawei is expected to "maintain its current momentum" in the rest of the year.

Huawei takes 3rd place in smartphone shipments for 2015

Global smartphone shipments for 2015 grew 10.3 percent year-on-year to 1.293 billion units, among which 539 million units came from Chinese vendors, according to a report from market research firm TrendForce. Huawei smartphone shipments grow 44% in 2015

Huawei announced at CES that it shipped 108 million smartphones in 2015, a 44 percent increase from a year earlier.
