
The CEO said the company further consolidated its share of the carrier network equipment market, with over 130 LTE and more than 70 EPC networks deployed worldwide. In addition, its smartphone business has expanded in high-end markets such as Japan, the US, and Europe.
In 2013, the company aims to expand its leading positions in mobile broadband, fixed broadband and backbone network equipment. The CEO noted that the rapid growth of the past will be replaced by a stronger focus on cost control and efficient delivery to customers. Internal management will also be simplified, with more responsibility handed to field offices.
