French operator Free has launched its first fixed broadband package in the non-residential market. Named 'Freebox Pro', the new offering is available across Free's fibre-to-the-home footprint and comes with no contract commitment. The quad-play bundle costs EUR 49.99/month and is currently promoted at the discounted price of EUR 39.99/month for the first year, excluding VAT.
The fibre connection is marketed with a download speed of up to 7 Gbps (1 Gbps upload), based on the 10G-EPON (Ethernet Passive Optical Network) standard. The package includes two VoIP lines at no extra cost (EUR 9.99/month for additional lines), with an unlimited call allowance covering mobile and landline numbers in France, Canada, the US and China, as well as landlines in over 100 international destinations.
Included at no extra cost, customers also benefit from one 5G-compatible mobile plan from Free's new Pro range, which needs to be activated from the client space. More SIMs can be added to the account at an additional cost.
Called 'Free Pro 5G', the mobile tariff is priced EUR 9.99/month for Freebox Pro subscribers needing more than one SIM (EUR 19.99/month for all other customers), excluding VAT. It combines 150 GB of data and an unlimited call allowance, as well as dedicated customer support.
The main selling points of the Freebox Pro multi-play bundle include LTE backup for business continuity, a Wi-Fi booster to extend the Wi-Fi signal, cloud storage (200 GB), static IP address, firewall, and a client support service available seven days a week. Additionally, the package comes with a box integrating a NAS (Network-Attached Storage) server and the option to purchase up to two additional hard drives.
