
Revenues reached a new high of USD 19.2 billion in the quarter, up 19 percent from the year before. The figure was boosted by both data centric and pc centric revenues, up 22 percent and 16 percent respectively. Mobileye also achieved a record quarterly revenue of USD 191 million, up 50 percent from the year earlier. Earnings per share went to record levels, jumping 47 percent to USD 1.38. Adjusted EPS advanced 39 percent to USD 1.40. The net profit climbed 42 percent to USD 6.4 billion.
For the fourth quarter, Intel is guiding for revenues of USD 19 billion and EPS of USD 1.16.
For the full year, the company is now forecasting revenues of USD 71.2 billion, EPS at USD 4.52, adjusted EPS of 4.53 and capex of USD 15.5 billion. The previous guidance had been for revenues of 69.5 billion, up from an earlier forecast of 67.5 billion and 65 billion. EPS is guided up from USD 4.0, 3.79 and 3.30. Capex was earlier seen at USD 15 billion and before that at 14.5 billion.
