KDDI to sell Windows 7.5 phone from September
Japanese mobile operator KDDI will sell the Windows Phone IS12T made by Fujitsu Toshiba Mobile Communications from September. The handset will run on Windows Phone 7.5 and is a water- and dust-proof smartphone. The device also comes with a 13.2-megapixel camera and 32 GB of internal memory.

Microsoft releases Mango update to manufacturers

Microsoft has released the latest version of its Windows Phone mobile OS to manufacturers. Known as the Mango release, the software will be included in a phone from Fujitsu for Japanese operator KDDI, due out in September. The update will also be available to existing Windows Phone 7 users for an update in the autumn. New features include the Conversation View for ongoing e-mail conversations, threading of text, IM, and Facebook chat in one conversation, Internet Explorer 9 and app multitasking.

KDDI to offer first Windows Mango phone - report

Japanese operator KDDI will offer the first smartphone to run Microsoft's newest mobile operating system, The Nikkei learned. The waterproof handset will feature a 3.7-inch LCD screen and is manufactured by Fujitsu Toshiba Mobile Communications.
