Lenovo introduces Moto Z Play, Hasselblad True Zoom
Verizon announced the start of pre-orders for new phones from Lenovo, the Moto Z Play Droid and the Hasselblad True Zoom Moto Mod. The phones will also be available online in the US from Motorola.com. Lenovo said they will launch globally in September, selling for EUR 299 for the Hasselblad and EUR 499 for the Moto Z Play in Europe.

At Verizon, the Moto Z Play will be available for USD 17 per month with a 24-month contract or for USD 408 full price. From 8 September, customers buying the Moto Z Play will be able to trade in their current smartphone and apply up to USD 300 in trade-in value towards their purchase. The Hasselblad True Zoom, at USD 249.99, will be launched in stores on 15 September. For a limited time, customers buying the device will get 50 percent off another Mod.

The Hasselblad True Zoom, developed for those with a passion for photography, features a 10x optical zoom and Xenon flash.

Moto Mods can magnetically snap onto the phone, providing a JBL SoundBoost speaker (USD 79.99), a Moto Insta-Share projector (USD 299.99), TUMI and kate spade new york Power Packs (USD 59.99-89.99) and Incipio Back Plates (USD 14.99).
