Lenovo rolls out K900 smartphone with Intel in China
Lenovo has launched its K900 smartphone in China. Lenovo has selected NBA superstar Kobe Bryant to promote the K900 in its television and print advertisements and on social media sites in China and Southeast Asia. The Lenovo K900 is based on the Intel Atom Z2580 processor, a dual-core chip which runs up to 2 GHz and uses Intel Hyper-Threading technology. The device also features an Intel Graphics Media Accelerator engine running a PowerVR SGX 544MP2 GPU. The K900 is made from a composite of stainless steel alloy and polycarbonate in a unibody mold. The smartphone features a 5.5-inch IPS display with 1080p full HD resolution and Gorilla Glass 2, Sony Exmor BSI sensor and a 13-megapixel camera. The K900 smartphone is now available in China and will hit select international markets this summer. It will retail price in China from CNY 3,299.
