Lenovo unveils ThinkPad Tablet 2 with Windows 8
Lenovo unveiled its first tablet running Windows 8, the ThinkPad Tablet 2. Set to launch in October, the tablet features an Intel Atom processor, Windows 8 Pro and a 10.1-inch screen. The tablet supports multiple input methods, including multi-finger touch and an optional digitizer and pen for note taking, capturing signatures and completing forms. A keyboard and dock is also available for more PC-like computing in the office. The tablet will come with optional 3G and 4G connectivity, as well as front and rear-facing cameras, a fingerprint reader, noise-canceling microphones and HDMI and USB ports.
