
Groove will offer easy-to-use menus and navigation controls for mouse/keyboard and with touch gestures on touchscreen devices. Built-in OneDrive integration means that uses can upload their MP3 files to OneDrive, even songs bought from iTunes, and access them for free with the Groove app on Windows devices, Xbox, the web and Android phones. iPhone support will come soon. The ad-free Groove Music Pass subscription costs USD 9.99 a month or USD 99 a year for complete access to stream and download music from Windows Store. Subscribers can also create custom radio stations based on favourite songs, albums and artists. Current Xbox Music Pass holders will be automatically switched to Groove.
The Movies & TV app in Windows 10 allows users to play their personal videos, films and TV shows. More file format support has been added, including .mkv files. Movies & TV integrates directly with Windows Store, offering films and TV shows for rent or purchase. New releases are added weekly and TV shows are available a day after they air. On Windows 10 devices, Xbox and the web, the app lets users starting watching content on one device and resume viewing on another device.
Windows Insiders who are a part of the Fast ring and upgrade to the next PC build will see these updates in the Store beta first, while remaining customers will have these updates with Windows 10 starting on 29 July.
