Nokia will start rolling out its Lumia Amber update from 19 August. Roll-out will be phased, with the exact availability depending on the device version and type. All users of the Lumia 920, Lumia 820, Lumia 720, Lumia 620 and Lumia 520 will have the update by the end of September. The Lumia 625, Lumia 925 and Lumia 1020 smartphones set to launch later this year will come equipped with the Amber version of the software.
The Lumia Amber update includes new features such as FM radio support, as well improved Xbox music and Internet Explorer functionalities. The update also improves Lumia's camera software for better noise reduction, colour reproduction, exposure and autofocus. The Nokia camera Apps Nokia Smart Camera (for all devices) and Nokia Camera Pro (for the Lumia 920 and Lumia 925) are also available. The update also includes the Nokia Glance Screen, Data Sense and Storage Check options.
