OnePlus moves 6T launch to 29 Oct
OnePlus has announced it will launch its new OnePlus 6T on 29 October instead of 30 October. The company said the change comes after Apple announced its own 30 October event.

The Chinese smartphone producer previously said that its upcoming OnePlus 6T will be the successor to the OnePlus 6 presented in May. The OnePlus 6T is expected to broadly correspond to the OnePlus 6 in terms of specifications. To start, it will also be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor. The OnePlus 6T is expected to come in three versions: a model with 64 GB and 6 GB RAM, another with 128 GB and 8 GB RAM and one with 256 GB and 8 GB RAM. Market watchers said it will retails at about EUR 20 more than its predecessor.

Telenor Sweden said that OnePlus has picked it as partner operator in Sweden and their cooperation will start with the launch of the new model, the OnePlus 6T on 06 November. It gave no prices for the phone but potential buyers can leave their contact details on Telenor's website.

OnePlus announced it will again open a number of pop-up shops to promote its upcoming OnePlus 6T smartphone. From 31 October, shops will open in cities including New York, London, Paris, Milan, Beijing, Berlin, Barcelona and Amsterdam. The new phone will be unveiled on 29 October.

OnePlus announced that it will launch its 6T smartphone on 30 October in New York and sales will start a week later on 06 November. The successor to the OnePlus 6 released in May is expected to be similar to sister company Oppo's R17 smartphone and include an in-display fingerprint scanner.
