Oppo unveils 5G CPE Omni connection hub
Oppo has announced the imminent launch of a new 5G CPE device offering speeds of up to 7.5 Gbps. The Oppo 5G CPE Omni supports millimeter wave and sub-6 GHz dual network frequency bands as well as 5G connections via the company’s “O-Motion 360-degree” antenna solution. The 5G millimeter wave antenna can rotate +/-180 degrees and achieve loss-free and anti-locking during operations, said Oppo, adding that it also supports 2X MIMO and is backed by the “O-Reserve” 4X MIMO antenna in the sub-6GHz frequency.

Oppo didn’t reveal any availability or price details but said the 5G CPE Omni would feature Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X55 modem and support dynamic spectrum sharing (DSS), Wi-Fi 6, mesh networking, ZigBee 3.0 and Bluetooth LE technology, enabling expansion into multiple smart home and business scenarios in the future.

Oppo unveils APAC regional strategy, opens APAC Hub Center in Kuala Lumpur

Oppo has held its APAC Strategy Launch in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia under the theme of 'Connecting Tomorrow, Together'.
