Samsung adopts Google Play Music as default music player
Samsung has adopted Google Play Music as the default music player on its new smartphones. The deal with Google starts with the Galaxy S8 and the Galaxy S8+, and Google Play Music will be the default music player and music service on all new Samsung phones and tablets globally.

Google said Samsung will also benefit from exclusive special features in Google Play Music, such as twice as much storage as other Play Music users and a free three-month trial for the streaming service.

In addition, Google Play Music will work with Bixby, Samsung's new intelligent assistant, when it launches later this spring. Subscribers will be able to ask Bixby to play their favorite song and it'll start playing on Google Play Music instantly.
