Samsung announced that global sales for the recently launched Samsung Galaxy Note II smartphone have hit the 3 million units mark, a little over a month after its launch. The smartphone is selling some three times faster than its predecessor, Samsung said. Sales were helped by the launch of the device with five US carriers. The Android phone features a 5.5-inch screen and stylus pen to write and draw on the screen.
