Samsung launches mobile radio app Milk
Samsung announced the launch of a new mobile radio service called Milk Music. Powered by Slacker, Milk is available exclusively for customers with Galaxy devices from Samsung. This includes the S3, S4, S5, Note 2 and 3, Mega and S4 mini, across all carrier and retail channels. To access the service, customers can download the app free from Google Play. Milk offers a choice of over 200 radio stations based on music genre, including a catalogue of around 13 million songs. Users can choose feeds picked by music "tastemakers and influences" or create their own personalised station based on favourite songs and albums. The service is ad-free, and users can skip up to six songs per hour per station. Samsung said it will offer in future exclusive programming from top-selling and emerging artists on Milk.
