SFR has refreshed its consumer postpaid mobile tariffs, adjusting prices and redefining the allowance included within the plans. Among the main changes, the data included in the new higher-tier plans (Power Illimite and Premium Illimite) has been increased to “unlimited”. Across both SIM-only and with-handset options, the cost of the monthly subscriptions is now expressed in rounded figures, instead of using prices ending in 99 cents. From a marketing perspective, SFR has also stopped labelling its add-ons as “Extras”, describing them instead as “SFR services”.
Among SIM-only plans with a 12-month contract, the advertised prices range from EUR 12/month for the lower-tier plan (Starter 100 MB) to EUR 64/month for the top-tier subscription (Premium Illimite). These are discounted price points valid for the first year. A further reduction is also available for customers subscribing to an SFR fixed broadband service.
In a related development, the SFR website now displays the Altice brand alongside SFR’s traditional red-square logo. As announced in May, the company will be changing its consumer-facing identity to Altice by mid-2018.
