Slovakia telecommunications regulator RU announced that it has completed the tender for allocation of 5G spectrum in the 700 MHz, 900 MHz and 1,800 MHz bands. The state raised in total EUR 100.2 million from the tender.
In the 700 MHz band, Orange Slovakia received a 2x10 MHz block (723-733 MHz / 778-788 MHz), O2 Slovakia acquired 2x10 MHz (703-713 MHz / 758-768 MHz), and Slovak Telekom obtained 2x10 MHz (713-723 MHz / 768-778 MHz).
O2 Slovakia acquired the remaining 2x4.2 MHz in the 900 MHz band.
In the 1,800 MHz range, O2 Slovakia received 2x3 MHz (1,776.1-1,779.1 MHz / 1,871.1-1,874.1 MHz), Slovak Telekom obtained 2x3 MHz (1,710.0-1,710.1 MHz / 1,805.0-1,805.1 MHz and 1,782.1-1,785.0 MHz / 1,877.1-1,880.0 MHz), and Swan Mobile acquired 2x3 MHz (1,779.1-1,782.1 MHz / 1,874.1-1,877.1 MHz).
