Stofa acquires Canal Digital Denmark for DKK 100 mln
Danish cable television company Stofa reached an agreement to purchase the Danish cable division of Telener-owned Scandinavian TV distributor Canal Digital for DKK 100 million. To become effective, the deal requires the approval of the local competition authority. Stofa was acquired by Ratos from TeliaSonera for DKK 1.1 billion on a cash- and debt-free basis (enterprise value) in 2010. Ratos is a listed private equity company with a Nordic focus. TeliaSonera acquired Stofa in 1995.
