T-Mobile US starts iPhone 12 deals, gets exclusive on OnePlus 8T

T-Mobile US has announced offers to get the new iPhones from Apple at low prices from the operator. It's also the exclusive carrier partner for the new OnePlus 8T phone in the US. 

Similar to AT&T and Verizon, T-Mobile is offering the standard iPhone 12 nearly free with a contract. Customers can get USD 850 off the price of an iPhone 12 with bill credits when adding a line and trading in an eligible device. The iPhone 12 Pro is available in a package with two phones and two new lines at USD 100 per month on the Essentials plan when trading in two eligible devices. Pre-orders for the new iPhones start 16 October.

Existing customers can get up to half off the iPhone 12 Pro or up to USD 500 off any of the other new iPhones with 30 monthly bill credits when they trade in an eligible device. Customers who have been with T-Mobile or Sprint for over five years will receive a USD 200 rebate on any new iPhone when they trade in an old device, which can be combined with the USD 500 off deal. 

One Plus 8T for USD 750

T-Mobile also renewed its partnership with OnePlus to offer its new 5G model the 8T. New and existing customers can get half off the phone with 24 monthly bill credits when they add a new line of service. This offer also works with the OnePlus 8 5G smartphone. 

The phone otherwise costs USD 31.25 per month on a zero-interest contract for 24 months.

Verizon takes 5G nationwide, boosts mmWave speeds to 4 Gbps

Apple has unveiled its first 5G iPhones. The iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro models go on pre-sale from 16 October in over 30 countries and will be in stores from 23 October.
