T-Mobile USA offers free LTE data for tablet users

T-Mobile USA has announced Tablets Un-leashed, making tablets more affordable, connected and mobile out of the box. T-Mobile is offering tablet owners up to 200 MB of free LTE data each month as long as they own a tablet, even if they are not a T-Mobile customer. T-Mobile voice customers, "always-on" tablet plans start at USD 10 a month for unlimited data including 500 MB of LTE data each month. Customers can add LTE data in 2 GB increments for USD 10 more per month. Postpaid customers who add a monthly Simple Choice tablet plan automatically get unlimited data to include more than 100 countries globally at no extra charge. In addition, T-Mobile is offering new and existing customers the ability to purchase an LTE tablet with no upfront investment and monthly device payments. 

T-Mobile has also announced plans to extend its existing smartphone trade-in programme to tablets. Beginning 1 November, customers with a qualifying tablet can bring it into participating T-Mobile stores and receive a discount on a new tablet. Tablet's in T-Mobiles portfolio include: Google Nexus 7 and  Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1.
