Tata Communications buys 35% stake in Teleena
Tata Communications announced that it has acquired a stake of 35 percent in MVNE and IoT services provider Teleena. The acquisition is estimated to have cost EUR 10-20 million, according to Dutch paper Financieele Dagblad.

Tata will have a seat on the Dutch company's supervisory board, but will not be involved in daily management, Teleena director Emile de Boer said. Tata's wholesale services are expected to support new products and services at Teleena.

An example is a secure Sim card that airline KLM uses to deliver flight plans over 5,000 iPads to its staff. Teleena recorded revenues of around EUR 28 million in 2015.
