Indian operator Tata Communications (Tata Coms) has introduced its global mobility platform dubbed ‘Move’. Tata Coms says the Move platform is built on its partnerships with 900 mobile communications service providers and leverages its recently acquired 35 percent stake in IoT technology provider Teleena. Tata Coms also reports that the Move platform launch represents its entry into the global USD 4 billion mobile data connectivity and cross-border IoT market. The Move platform will enable people and things to become connected on a global scale.
In the first phase of the roll-out of Tata Coms’ Move service, the platform encompasses global cellular IoT and SIM connectivity, with further enterprise and mobile network operator capabilities to follow later this year.
