Telekom Austria Q3 revenues flat in line with FY outlook

Telekom Austria reported a flat underlying performance in Q3 figures, in line with its full-year outlook reduced at the Q2 report. Group revenues declined by 3.5 percent to EUR 1.012 billion in the three months to September, as 1.6 percent growth in Austria was offset by weakness in Eastern Europe. Excluding currency effects, revenues fell 0.2 percent year-on-year. Comparable EBITDA fell 6.8 percent to EUR 386 million but rose 4.1 percent excluding currency and one-time effects. . 

Net profit still rose 7.3 percent to EUR 137 million. Operating cash flow fell 9.7 percent to EUR 271.5 million, after a nearly 20 percent increase in capital expenditure to EUR 172 million. Telekom Austria said it still expects full-year capex at EUR 700-750 million, flat revenues excluding currency effects and a dividend of 5 cents a share for 2015.
