
Verizon, Google sign long-term patent licence deal

US operator Verizon Communications announced a long-term patent cross-license agreement with Google, covering a broad range of products and technologies. The agreement allows each company to reduce the risk of future patent litigation. Both companies said in a statement that they are interested in signing similar deals with other companies. No further details of the agreement were released.
