Xiaomi upgrades Mi Max phablet

Xiaomi has presented a new version of its Mix Max phablet. The Mix Max 2 comes with the same size display, at 6.44 inches, while adding a thinner bezel, full-metal unibody, bigger RAM (4 GB) and battery (5,300 mAh), QuickCharge 3.0 and an improved camera. The phone also comes with stereo speakers and an intelligent feature to switch to stereo sound when it's turned horizontal. 

The device runs the Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor and will be available with a choice of 64 GB storage for CNY 1,699 or 128 GB for CNY 1,999.

Xiaomi aiming for 2017 sales of CNY 100 bln

Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun wants the company's 2017 to reach CNY 100 billion (USD 14.5 billion), Bloomberg reported, citing a memo posted on Xiaomi's WeChat. Xiaomi has launched a new flagship smartphone, the Mi 5s, an upgrade of the Mi 5 first introduced in February. Xiaomi unveils Redmi Pro smartphone with dual rear camera

Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi has introduced its 'Redmi Pro' budget smartphone. The Redmi Pro is the first Xiaomi phone to feature an OLED display. The device measures 5.5-inches, and features two rear cameras, a 13-megapixel Sony IMX258 sensor and a 5-megapixel Samsung sensor. Xiaomi says these two cameras work in tandem to help replicate DSLR-style image capture, TechCrunch reports. Starting 6 August, the device will be available in China from August 6 in gold, grey or silver.

Xiaomi launches 6.4-inch Mi Max smartphone in India

Xiaomi has launched its Mi Max smartphone in India. While the first batch of Mi Max smartphone will be imported from China, Xiaomi plans to start local production of the device around mid-July, ET reports. The Mi Max will be exclusively available on mi.com for INR 14,999 starting 6 July. Registrations for the Mi Max start from 30 June, writes The Times of India. Starting with 13 July, the Mi Max will be available on all online platforms including Paytm, without registration.
