Dutch VoIP market growth driven by cable
The number of Dutch consumer VoIP subscriptions grew 3.3 percent during the first quarter, to 3.69 million at the end of March of this year, according to Telecompaper's quarterly update on the Dutch fixed telephony market. The growth was driven by cable VoIP, with a 3.9 percent increase during the quarter, while DSL reported quarterly growth of only 1.7 percent.
