Acer launches Intel-powered Liquid C1 in Thailand
Acer has introduced the Liquid C1 in Thailand. The phone features the Intel Atom processor Z2420, Android ICS, 4GB storage, a 4.3-inch touchscreen and an 8-megapixel camera. It's priced at THB 9,990. Acer plans to boost its market share in Thailand to 10 percent this year and believes the mid-tier smartphone sector will be high growth area this year, the Bangkok Post writes citing Nitipat Praweenwongwuthi, senior marketing manager of Acer Thailand. The company will focus on 3G-enabled dual-Sim smartphones.
