Air France-KLM start inflight Wi-Fi service

Air France and KLM launched an inflight Wi-Fi trial in partnership with Panasonic Avionics on two long-haul flights today, AF012 from Paris to New York and KL757 from Amsterdam to Panama. Travellers can send SMS and e-mail, and surf the internet at a price of EUR 10.95 per hour or EUR 19.95 for the whole flight. Mobile text and data usage will be billed to users according to their own roaming agreements.
