Altice One home hub now comes with Netflix across full Optimum footprint

Altice USA announced that its Altice One platform became available across the full Optimum footprint and includes integrated access to Netflix service. Existing customers of Altice One and Netflix will be prompted to sign in when accessing the Netflix service on the platform for the first time. Altice One customers without a Netflix membership will be able to sign up for Netflix service directly through Altice One and begin to immediately explore and enjoy the content.

Altice One is the cable operator's home hub to deliver UHD video, high-speed broadband, Wi-Fi and IP phone, replacing the traditional cable box, modem and router. The cloud-based platform includes a personalised user interface and fully integrated access to live TV, video on demand, streaming apps such as Netflix, YouTube and Pandora, and cloud DVR recordings plus advanced search via a Bluetooth-enabled voice-activated remote control.

Altice USA ups capex after strong Q4 helped by tax benefit

Turning around from the disappointing results it put out in the third quarter, Altice USA reported growth in revenues, profit and cash flow for its fourth quarter. New CEO Dexter Goei said that after a momentous year of change and strategic moves, the company is on track for the spin-off from Altice NV, which will become Altice Europe, and that it will continue to focus on innovation, service and networks in the coming year.
