Apple closes Madrid stores following Covid surge

Monday 24 August 2020 | 09:21 CET | News
Apple has announced the temporary closure of its stores in Madrid as a precautionary measure following a new surge in coronavirus infections in the Spanish capital. "We are closely monitoring the situation and hope that our teams and customers will return as soon as possible," said the company in a short statement shared with Europa Press. Apple recently closed its store in Zaragoza after a spike in cases in the Aragon region and is now shutting its four physical spaces in Madrid (Puerta del Sol, Majadahonda, Arroyomolinos and Leganes).
