Apple confirms iPhone press conference for 7 September

Tuesday 30 August 2016 | 08:45 CET | News
Apple is expected to introduce on 07 September the next iPhone. The company has confirmed the date in invitations sent out to the media for a presentation in San Francisco. The latest reports suggest Apple is varying its standard update schedule and will not launch a completely new design for the iPhone 7. Changes to the smartphone are expected to be more minor, such as an improved camera, speakers and start button. The next major overhaul of the smartphone won't come until 2017.
