Apple to present new iPhone on 7 September - report
Apple will present the newest iPhone on 07 September, a person familiar with the matter told Bloomberg. The annual update of the smartphone is expected to vary from the previous launch in 2014, of the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus. In even years, Apple has always come with a completely new design, but this time the company is reportedly only updating some elements, including the camera, speakers and start button. The big changes won't come until 2017. 

According to Bloomberg's sources, Apple is also working on a new generation of MacBooks, with a thinner casing and new chips. The laptops will feature an OLED touchscreen above the keyboard with changing functions keys and a fingerprint sensor. The new computers will not be presented in September yet.

iOS returns to growth in the US, EU5 in Q2 - study

Apple to use Intel chip for some iPhones - report

Apple's next iPhone will use modems from Intel, replacing Qualcomm chips in some versions of the new handset, Bloomberg reported, saying Apple wants to its supplier base. Apple has chosen Intel modem chips for the iPhone used on AT&T's US network and some other versions of the smartphone for overseas markets, sources said. IPhones on Verizon Communications' network will remain with with parts from Qualcomm. iPhones sold in China will also work on Qualcomm chips, the sources added.
