Bouygues undercuts triple-play rivals by a third

French operator Bouygues Telecom will cut the price of its triple-play service to EUR 19.99 a month on 3 March, slashing a third off the market's standard price of EUR 30, and giving subscribers the option to cancel at any time, unlike the offers of its competitors. The new plan will be available in French cities with over 100,000 inhabitants where Bouygues has unbundled the local loop, amounting to some 12 million homes. There is no equipment rental cost either. The ADSL service includes 20 GB of cloud storage, up to 165 TV channels, a 40 GB PVR, VoD and catch-up TV. It also offers unlimited
