
China Telecom expands LTE hybrid network trial to 40 cities

China Telecom has obtained approval from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the PRC to expand its LTE FDD and TD-LTE hybrid network trial to 40 cities. China Telecom rolled out its LTE hybrid network trial in June in 16 cities, including Shanghai, Xi'an, Chengdu, Hangzhou, Wuhan, Nanjing, Jinan, Hefei, Shijiazhuang, Haikou, Zhengzhou, Chongqing, Shenzhen, Nanchang, Nanning and Lanzhou. The additional 24 cities are Beijing, Tianjin, Guangzhou, Foshan, Dongguan, Fuzhou, Xiamen, Quanzhou, Changsha, Kunming, Harbin, Changchun, Guiyang, Shenyang, Taiyuan, Hohhot, Yinchuan, Xining, Suzhou, Wuxi, Nantong, Ningbo, Wenzhou, Jinhua.
