Dazn Group has announced a new group structure and leadership changes that are expected to enable the company to realise its ambitious growth and product strategy. Shay Segev will be sole CEO of Dazn Group while Darren Waterman will join as CFO, based in London. James Rushton, Dazn co-founder, will continue with his existing responsibilities, overseeing growth in local markets, rights and content. After almost four years as CFO, Stuart Epstein will continue as senior advisor and member of the Dazn board, enabling a smooth transition sometime in the first half of 2022.
Segev joined Dazn in June 2021 as co-CEO. Before that, he was the CEO at Entain. Rushton was his co-CEO, after spending the majority of his career at Perform Group, where he helped launch Dazn in 2016. Waterman joins the company from Amazon where he led the finance team responsible for Prime Video internationally.
