Dell and Google launch first 'Chromebook Enterprise' laptops
Dell has announced the launch of the first Chromebook Enterprise laptops in partnership with Google as well as an updated Unified Workspace management system for cloud deployment and support. The Dell Latitude 5400 and 5300 2-in-1 Enterprise Chromebooks come with the Chrome Enterprise OS and licences pre-installed. They’re available in a choice of 8th Generation Intel Core i5 and i7 processors, with up to 1TB SSD of storage and 32GB of RAM, plus ExpressCharge and USB-C technologies.

The Dell Enterprise Chromebooks will be launched in 50 countries and can also be configured with LTE radios, said Dell at the start of the VMworld 2019 event in San Francisco. In addition to Chrome Enterprise capabilities, the new Chromebooks come with Dell’s new Unified Workspace security capabilities and support services including a 24x7 service desk, device management and account management.
