Telefonica Business Solutions, the B2B unit of the Spanish telecommunications operator, has reached an agreement with Google to add the internet giant’s public cloud service to its existing multicloud portfolio. Under the terms of the global deal, Telefonica will reinforce its offering to companies with the inclusion of Google Cloud Platform, G Suite, Google Cloud Interconnect and Chrome Enterprise. The aim is to provide Telefonica’s business clients with a simple, secure and open approach that takes advantage of the benefits of the cloud and helps them meet their business needs, said the partners.
The deal comes after Telefonica Spain last year agreed to market the G Suite cloud-based platform to its large business customers. The operator will now promote the Google Cloud Platform public cloud services, the infrastructure interconnection solution Google Cloud Interconnect and Chrome Enterprise – which includes the most relevant business tools companies require to work easily in the cloud – in all the countries in which it operates.
