Docomo launches LTE tablets from Samsung, Fujitsu
NTT Docomo announced its first tablets for its Xi LTE service. A LTE version of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 will go on sale in Japan in the beginning of October, and the Arrows Tab from Fujitsu will launch in the middle of October. Both tablets feature 10.1-inch displays, dual-core CPUs and Android 3.2. Docomo will introduce new applications to go with the devices, including the Hulu and Qik video services as well as the G Cloud gaming service from NHN and Ubitus. The mobile operator also said it's setting up a new product line called docomo Tablet, to reflect the growing importance of the devices in the market.
