Entel to acquire Nextel Peru for USD 500 mln – report
Latin America mobile operator NII Holdings, which operates under the Nextel brand, is in advanced talks to sell its Peru unit to Chilean mobile operator Entel, local newspaper El Comercio reports, citing unnamed sources close to the deal. According to the same sources, the parts have already agreed on the acquisition price. Entel would pay USD 500 million for Nextel Peru.
