Global tablet shipments down 7% in Q2, Huawei and Amazon buck trend

Friday 9 August 2019 | 15:43 CET | News
Second-placed Samsung and fifth-placed Lenovo exceeded market shipment growth, yet still showed declines of -1 percent and -6 percent to 4.9 million and 1.9 million, respectively. The report indicates that Samsung has been stabilising its tablet shipments over the last couple of quarters and could regain some Android customers in view of Huawei's trade difficulties outside China.
