Workers from Google and other Alphabet companies have created the first Alphabet Workers Union, with support from the Communications Workers of America (CWA), the union announced. The union will be open to all Alphabet employees, regardless of role or classification and be part of CWA Local 1400. "All issues relevant to Google as a workplace will be the purview of the union and its members," the CWA said.
