IBM still targets another 1,000 redundancies under restructuring plan in Germany

The German union Ver.di said IBM has informed the supervisory board and works council committees about plans to cut almost 1,000 jobs. The company should start negotiating social plans with the responsible bodies of all the firms belonging to the IBM group in Germany in order to implement redundancies.
