KPN launches Spotify bundle for mobile customers
KPN has introduced a special mobile bundle together with music service Spotify. SpotifyPremium 500MB costs EUR 10 per month and provides 500MB mobile internet data plus free access to Spotify Premium (worth EUR 9.99 per month). As an introduction offer, KPN mobile customers can try the new bundle for the first three months for free. The deal comes in the wake of Spotify offers from Hi and MTV Mobile earlier this year. The new KPN Spotify bundle can be purchased as an extra to KPN's mobile subscription. The operator estimates customers will use an average of 150MB of mobile internet per month if they use Spotify Premium from their smartphone.

Hi survey finds young people like music on mobile phone

Young people listen to around four hours of music a day, of which around 1.2 hours while on the go, according to a survey for Dutch mobile services provider Hi of almost 800 people aged 16-25. Hi adds free Spotify to messaging plan

Dutch mobile services provider Hi, part of the KPN group, will offer a Spotify Premium subscription free with its Hi Messaging XL plan from 01 October. The tariff plan offers unlimited online messaging, SMS and on-net calls. On 19 September, a new campaign promoting the Spotify offer will start.
