KPN unveils OTT service Play

Tuesday 28 April 2015 | 14:08 CET | News
KPN has unveiled Play, an app that will allow users to watch video content. Customers will be able to use the app to watch films, series and the most popular television channels available live. The service will launch in the fall for anyone with an internet connection at home or on the go, also non-KPN customers. KPN said it will be first Dutch provider to respond to the changing viewing habits of consumers. The operator wants to attract young people who watch more internet video content. The Play app will be available for iOS and Android and can be viewed via Google Chromecast on the TV.
