Hungarian operator Magyar Telekom has introduced Magenta1, the converged offer of fixed and mobile services in a single package being rolled out by its parent company Deutsche Telekom across Europe. In addition to the tariff packages for residential services (broadband, TV and fixed line), customers can opt for a post-paid mobile subscription, including a data tariff plan.
The Magenta1 packages include free use of the TV Go service with no mobile data charges, while users of the highest speed internet package can also enjoy the Moziklub (MovieClub) service unlimited within Hungary. Any domestic fixed line and mobile numbers on the account can be called free from the home fixed line (up to HUF 5,000), and the mobile tariff plan can include unlimited national calls. The Magenta1 terminal offer provides a HUF 20,000 discount if a TV set and smartphone of the same manufacturer are purchased together.
Monthly fees to the new packages are discounted with a 24-month subscription, and no-contract subscriptions are also available. Telekom also offers business mobile plans within the offer for small and home offices. The standard Magenta1 package offers 30 Mbps broadband, the IPTV Family+HD TV subscription, the Hoppa Plusz fixed-line plan and Next S mobile plan with 500 MB data for HUF 14,900 per month on a two-year contract.
