Motorola brings out Moto E5 Play with Android Go

Motorola has introduced the latest E5 smartphone, the Moto E5 Play with Android Oreo (Go edition). The company launched its new E range in the spring, targeting the lower end of the smartphone market. The latest version comes with fewer pre-installed apps, smaller app sizes and more storage, plus a built-in data saver. 

The smartphone sports a 5.3 inch Max Vision display, with an 18:9 aspect ratio and a discrete fingerprint reader located on the phone’s Motorola logo. The phone also has an 8 MP rear-facing camera and a 5 MP selfie camera with its own flash. 

The Moto E5 Play will be available this month in various countries in Europe and Latin America starting at a recommended retail price of EUR 109.

Motorola has presented its new Moto One Vision smartphone, which comes with a large 6.3-inch screen with 21:9, cinema-like aspect ratio. The phone launches first in Brazil for BRL 1,999, followed by Mexico and the rest of Latin America and Europe this month, at a recommended price of EUR 300. It will later be available in selected other countries in Asia, the Middle East and Australia.

Motorola has come out with two new smartphones, the Motorola One and Motorola One Power. Both phones will come with Android One, three years of security updates and a smart camera with Google Lens, plus Google Play Protect. Motorola wins patent infringement lawsuit against Hytera in Germany

Motorola Solutions announced that it has won its patent infringement lawsuit filed against Hytera Mobilfunk, the German subsidiary of China's Hytera Communications, at the Regional Court of Mannheim in Germany. The court ruled that Hytera's two-way wireless communications devices infringe on Motorola Solutions' patent EP 1 139 562 B1 for technology that improves the audio performance of two-way handheld radios and car radios, and is holding Hytera liable for damages, said Motorola.
