Motorola releases Motorola One, Motorola One Power smartphones, with only essential apps

Motorola has come out with two new smartphones, the Motorola One and Motorola One Power. Both phones will come with Android One, three years of security updates and a smart camera with Google Lens, plus Google Play Protect. According to the company, the new phones come with only the essential Android OS and Moto experiences, leaving more storage room and giving more control to the owner. Finally, the Motorola One family will also be among the first to upgrade to Android 9 Pie, soon after launch. 

The Motorola One sports a curved glass body, with a 5.9 inch HD+19:9 display. Users will be also be able to record 4K videos with the 13MP dual camera system and 8MP selfie camera. In addition, the phone comes with a TurboPower charger and the Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 2.0 GHz octa-core processor. The phone will be available in the coming months for a recommended retail price of EUR 299 in various countries of Europe, Latin America and Asia Pacific. 

The Motorola One Power offers a bigger 6.2-inch 19:9 Full HD+ display and the faster Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 1.8GHz octa-core processor, plus expandable storage of up to 256 GB of extra space. The phone will be available in India from October, with the local price released then.
