Motorola reinvents Razr with new foldable smartphone

Motorola has released a new version of its iconic Razr flip phone, with a foldable Oled screen. The new smartphone will be available exclusively from Verizon in the US and is also expected to launch in India and other markets.

The new Razr flips open to a full-length 6.2-inch display with 21:9 aspect ratio, which folds in half when the device is closed. On the outside, a touch-enabled 'Quick View' display lets users check notifications without having to open the phone.

The Razr also has a 16-megapixel camera with Night Vision and AI optimisation, 5-megapixel front camera, Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor, 6 GB RAM and 128 GB internal storage and a 2,150 mAh battery with TurboPower fast charging.

The phone will open for orders on 26 December and be in shops from 09 January. The Android 9 device is priced at USD 1,499.
